Again in no particular order;
William Eggleston (born July 27, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American photographer. He is widely credited with securing recognition for color photography as a legitimate artistic medium to display in art galleries.
I love the way that Eggleston captures the most random and sometimes pointless things, but the style in which he takes the photographs and developes them in is unique to himself.
These are a few of my favourite Photographs…

2 – Sally Mann
Sally Mann (Born May 1, 1951 Lexington, Virginia) is an American photographer, best known for her large black and white photographs, first of her young children, then of landscapes suggesting decay and death.
I studied some of Sally Mann’s work whilst I was at Barton Pevril Sixth Form. During my A-level in Photography I was inspired by the photographs that Mann took of her own children.
Here are a few of my favourites…

3 – Bill Brandt
Bill Brandt (3 May 1904 – 20 December 1983) was an influential British photographer and photojournalist known for his high-contrast images of British society and his distorted nudes and landscapes.
I love the way that Bill Brant uses the rule of thirds and the golden section in his photography, here are a few of my favourite photographs which show exactly what I mean…

4 - Martin Parr
Martin Parr (born 23 May 1952 in Epsom, Surrey) is a British documentary photographer, photojournalist and collector. He is known for his photographic projects that take a critical look at modern society, specifically consumerism, foreign travel and tourism, motoring, family and relationships, and food.
I love the way that Martin uses so much vivid colour in all of his prints,
it makes his work very amusing to study and look at.
Here are a few that use vivid colour…

5 – Annie Leibovitz
Anna-Lou “Annie” Leibovitz (born October 2, 1949) is an American portrait photographer whose style is marked by a close collaboration between the photographer and the subject.
I really like the way that Annie captures a dreamy and angelic atmosphere in all of her images. The photographs are all mainly mystical and have a fantasy feel about them.
here are a few to show you what I mean…

6 – Ansel Adams
Ansel Easton Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was an American photographer and environmentalist, best known for his black-and-white photographs of the American West, especially in Yosemite National Park. One of his most famous photographs was Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico.
I really like the tones of black and white in Ansel’s photographs the
monochrome colour is very atmospheric here are a few of my favourite images by Ansel..

7 – Brassai
Brassaï (pseudonym of Gyula Halász) (9 September 1899 – 8 July 1984) was a Hungarian photographer, sculptor, and filmmaker who rose to fame in France.
I love the romance that Brassai put into his photography,
the way that he captured the emotions of the people he photographed was amazing.
These are some of my Favourites..

8 – Man Ray
Man Ray, born Emmanuel Radnitzky (August 27, 1890 – November 18, 1976), was an American artist who spent most of his career in Paris, France. Perhaps best described simply as a modernist, he was a significant contributor to both the Dada and Surrealist movements, although his ties to each were informal.
I like the way that Man Ray created the effects on his photographs,
some of them has a slight solarization to them which is what he mainly known for,
where as others like the water droplets for tears were very over exaggerated.
Here are a few of my favourites and most well known…

9 – Nick Knight
Nick Knight is a British photographer and Director of SHOWstudio.com. He is known for his personal, experimental vision, resulting in work that exists outside the conventions of fashion photography. Born in London in 1958, Knight studied photography at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and Design. He graduated with a distinction in 1982.
Nick Knight is a very famous Fashion Photographer,
I like some of his colourful work but other work suck as the last photo below,
are slightly more disturbing and have a very different outcome through fashion..

10 – Erwitt Elliott
Elliott Erwitt (b. 26 July 1928 Paris, France) is an advertising and documentary photographer known for his black and white candid shots of ironic and absurd situations within everyday settings — the master of the “indecisive moment”.
I love the quirkiness of Erwitt’s photographs, again I like romance and the emotion
that is captured in the images a lot like Brassai he sets up photographs the same way.
Here are a few of my favourites…
